2024 Event Cancelled
Unfortunately the weather has not been on our side and as of 18:00 on Tuesday the river is on red bords, the boating area is not safe to position the rafts and the trailer park is 50% under water.
With our local experience of the river, and the fact that we a fighting both the ground conditions and the river conditions we have taken the decision that the risk of not being able to run a safe event this weekend is now too high and have therefore taken the decision to cancel. It is always a balance between waiting and giving the weather a chance to improve vs providing notice to all competitors to ensure plans can be adjusted for the weekend; we also have to consider the financial position of the event and give ourselves time to minimise any losses incurred.
All entrants will receive a full refund.

2021 Entry details updated
The entries page has been updated with details for the 2021 Event on Saturday 25th September 2021. We are still in discussions with the local authority, but we hope that the event will run more or less as normal. Some minor changes will include us not running the shorter middle division, and reducing the length of the course slightly by moving the finish about 200m downstream. Both of these changes will enable more space in and around the landing stages, ensuring we keep people as safe as possible.
